The Art of Life
Photobucket I'm so glad you're here! "The Art of Life" is where I share my journey as an artist & Momma. It's a place where I hope to encourage other women that they are artists too. In this small little space I seek to share, document, and be reminded of God's wonderful grace, all around us. ....And I would be so happy to have you journey alongside me! So grab a cup of coffee and linger for a while. I hope you leave feeling refreshed. Photobucket

Angel Waiting

~~There she sits, smiling at me. She quietly whispers, asking me to come, sit and paint.
~~On the other side of the house the dishes in the sink and laundry in the basket are not so polite. They don't whisper, they yell. They demand attention along with all the other household chores that never seem to be finished. So many times I let the "urgent" pull me away from the "important."
~~Today I'm going to listen to the quiet. I'm going to get out my palette, turn on some music and escape for a little while.
The dishes can wait.

Good for you! I just love how the new angel is coming along! I just accomplished a task that has been yelling at me to get it done and now am headed to do some sewing...life is full of need to's, and have to's. I'm just trying to remember to enjoy the journey. :-) ~Ang

Oh, this will be beautiful! I use to feel the same way about housework vs. artwork. I would feel guilty if I was painting or drawing with housework that needed to be done, but I come to realize that house work is never done. So enjoy the time that your girls are in school and paint and paint and paint.... The house will be there tomorrow:)

She's a true beauty! Hope all is well in your busy life. I thought I'd stop in and say "hi". It's been awhile for both of us.
