~~I'm doing my best to live by these words. Sometimes in the busy-ness of life it's easy to be out of touch with this present moment. I know that, if you're like me, you're always making "to-do" lists in your mind and thinking of all the things that need to get done. (Like taking care of my poor neglected blog!) But if we aren't careful we can miss out on some truly sweet times.
Hug your loved ones a little closer today. Enjoy these precious moments. Make them beautiful.

Thanks for sharing the beautiful quote. I was in your neck of the woods yesterday in OKC. I thought about coming through and visiting the antique shops but decided not to. Hope you are having a wonderful summer!
You are so right! Since my wreck I have realized how precious those moments together are and how important it is to take time for the MOST important things in life--God, family and friends. I look at my children and marvel that we are all at home together and have an opportunity to make some more good memories together. We have time for what we make time for. Our children and loved ones can't wait! Cherish every moment and before we know it, we will be looking back on a whole garden of wonderful memories.
