The Art of Life
Photobucket I'm so glad you're here! "The Art of Life" is where I share my journey as an artist & Momma. It's a place where I hope to encourage other women that they are artists too. In this small little space I seek to share, document, and be reminded of God's wonderful grace, all around us. ....And I would be so happy to have you journey alongside me! So grab a cup of coffee and linger for a while. I hope you leave feeling refreshed. Photobucket

Back in the groove

~~Well, I'm not rocking as much this morning; which is a good thing. I never get sea-sick on the boat but I do get sea-sick on the land. That doesn't make much sense I know.
~~Our vacation was wonderful and just what we needed; a chance to pull away from the busy-ness of life and just spend some time together. I'm the type of girl who has a hard time relaxing so this was a great chance to unwind myself.
~~I feel re-energized and ready to jump back into life, art, Christmas and everything else but first I'm going to have to clean up the house from what looks like a small tornado. (And it was clean when we left!) I've also got a boat-load of laundry to do. (How do you like that play on words, lol.) But sometime in the next few days I'll figure out which of the 416 photos to share with you all. Don't worry. I won't post them all! ;)
~~And another thing: it is sooooo cold here! Aaaaah! We spent a week in the warm Caribbean sun only to come back home to freezing weather. The car showed 18 degrees this morning. This is going to take some getting used to people!
~~Sigh. The sooner I tackle this mess the better. I don't think the bags will unpack themselves.
Happy Monday. :)

Wouldn't it be nice if bags DID unpack themselves?

My seasickness is the same way -- I call it my 'sea legs' cause I wobble around on land for awhile.

Merry Christmas!

Glad you guys made it back safe and sound. Cute shot of the girls, man what I would give to be in shorts right now :)

Hi Kasie

Your holiday sounds like bliss. What a perfect time to get away from the busy times that come with this part of the year.

Isn't it amazing how you feel like another holiday after you tackle all that washing that inevitably come with a getaway.

Looking forward to hearing more about your holiday and seeing your photos.

Lots of love
Elise
