The Art of Life
Photobucket I'm so glad you're here! "The Art of Life" is where I share my journey as an artist & Momma. It's a place where I hope to encourage other women that they are artists too. In this small little space I seek to share, document, and be reminded of God's wonderful grace, all around us. ....And I would be so happy to have you journey alongside me! So grab a cup of coffee and linger for a while. I hope you leave feeling refreshed. Photobucket

Sharing a laugh

~~I'm not feeling so great today. Nothing major, just really tired with a bad headache. I thought I'd share something that makes me laugh every time I see it. Dustin and I saw this commercial the other day and we both thought it was great. I love it that kids are so free in just being themselves.
I can relate to this too. I was told recently that I'm, um, not like everyone else.
Although this person didn't say it straight out that way it was implied that I'm a bit strange because I like to stay home, am an organizer and planner, don't like to go shopping, etc.
Hey, marching to the beat of your own drum isn't such a bad thing. Especially if you can do it with the same style as these little fellas, lol.

I love that commercial. It makes me smile every time I see it. Hey I stay home, am an organizer and planner, and don't like to go shopping also. Ha! I'm also trying my first Acrylic, after doing graphite and one colored pencil. I like it so far.

Cute commercial. I hate shopping and organizing. I'm weird/strange, too. :)

My problem with staying at home and thinking/imagining too much is that when I go out, I'm like a dog at the dog park. I just seem to blab to everyone about eveything a little over-enthusiastically. It's funny that that same quality in my daughter drives me nuts, but the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. And compulsive oganizing is just a coping strategy to manage my ADD, otherwise I'd never find anything!!
