The Art of Life
Photobucket I'm so glad you're here! "The Art of Life" is where I share my journey as an artist & Momma. It's a place where I hope to encourage other women that they are artists too. In this small little space I seek to share, document, and be reminded of God's wonderful grace, all around us. ....And I would be so happy to have you journey alongside me! So grab a cup of coffee and linger for a while. I hope you leave feeling refreshed. Photobucket

Home Again

~~Sigh.
We had a wonderful vacation. I'm already missing the camp. The weather was gorgeous and has me craving Fall so badly. We wore jackets and long sleeves and some nights were cold enough to need the heater. After such lovely weather it was hard to come back to this blanket-like heat. This morning when I was taking Sierra to school the temperature was already hotter than it got there during the warmest time of day.
Sigh.
~~I've got lots of pictures and things to share and I'll post them throughout the week. Right now I'm just so anxious to get back to painting. The picture above isn't that great because it was taken with a little snapshot disposable. I've seen the lakes swallow up too many cameras so there was no way my good one was going into the boat, lol.
~~I missed visiting with my online friends and I hope you all had a good week. At the same time it was so nice to be "unplugged" just enjoying time outdoors with my little family. The day before we left Sierra said, "Mommy, I want two things. I want to stay here and I want to go home. What am I going to do?"
I knew just how she felt!

Oh, our little philosophers! One of my great joys of motherhood has been listening to my children so simply state the deep, spiritual and philosophical concepts that it took me decades to learn. Pehaps I knew all that stuff myself once, and got educated out of it. Thank God for the Bible, which everyday helps me remember all the things I already knew!

Poor Sierra is going to have that question a lot for the rest of her life...don't we all???

Glad you had fun! Look forward to hearing more about your trip.
