"Peace" Acrylic on watercolor canvas~16"x20"~Copyright 2007 & Beyond~Kasie Sallee
~~Ahhh. Finally the little angel is done!
The name of this work is "Peace." We live in such an uncertain world. I feel this very strongly as a Mom. It's so easy to let worry and fear creep into our hearts.
As I was planning and working on this piece, this scripture was on my mind:
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:27
This little angel is meant to represent that peace.
**When you enlarge this it looks a bit fuzzy. I think that's because I've posted it at a low resolution to prevent it from being stolen. It doesn't actually look that fuzzy.
**For those who are interested, here are some progression pics. I didn't take as many as I would have liked.
