The Art of Life
Photobucket I'm so glad you're here! "The Art of Life" is where I share my journey as an artist & Momma. It's a place where I hope to encourage other women that they are artists too. In this small little space I seek to share, document, and be reminded of God's wonderful grace, all around us. ....And I would be so happy to have you journey alongside me! So grab a cup of coffee and linger for a while. I hope you leave feeling refreshed. Photobucket

Learn. Grow. Fly

~~First off, thank you so much for your sweet comments! I truly mean that. It was so kind of each one of you to take the time to encourage me. To be honest, I was actually having a bit of a tough day yesterday; just a lot of things weighing down on my mind and causing me to feel down and overwhelmed. God kept giving me little reminders though, to let go of the details and give it all to Him. It turned out to be an unusually gorgeous afternoon so the girls and I went to the park. It really helped to get outside and enjoy the beauty of the day. Then my sweet Hubby brought me home some chocolate covered espresso beans~just because. You can't beat that. :)
And finally, when I checked my blog and saw all of your kind words, I was touched by the kindess of people I've never even met in person. (At least most of you.) Thanks again!
~~I've already got another idea and the reference material for a new piece. I'm very excited about it. I had several ideas but I felt like it all just came together yesterday. Now I've got to push past the nervousness and get started. The hardest part for me is actually starting. I get an image in my mind of what I want the finished piece to look like and it freaks me out of putting the pencil to paper. But my "one little word" for the year is Courage, right?!
~~Today it is gray and rainy but I like those types of days. They get me in the mood for soup and staying cozy inside.
:)

There's nothing like going to the park and being a kid for a while to get things back into perspective. I just love having little ones. You get to be a child a little longer....Can't wait to get a peek at your next idea!! Keep up the great work! You are easy to believe in!
Love ya!!

Chocolate espresso beans? are they good? I will have to see if I can find some and try those out with Shaun, he loves coffee :)
Kasie, we had a nice warm and hearty potatoe soup on that gray, rainy day. I love those days. Luckily I had a wonderful library book to cozy up with too.
I'ts funny about that nervous feeling you get starting a new project. I love doing Word Art pictures and each time I get an idea I feel the same way. Just gotta jump in and swim, don't we.
God Bless you, so good to hear your encouraged ((((*hugs back*))))
