The Art of Life
Photobucket I'm so glad you're here! "The Art of Life" is where I share my journey as an artist & Momma. It's a place where I hope to encourage other women that they are artists too. In this small little space I seek to share, document, and be reminded of God's wonderful grace, all around us. ....And I would be so happy to have you journey alongside me! So grab a cup of coffee and linger for a while. I hope you leave feeling refreshed. Photobucket

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!
~~Today my heart is full of gratitude. There are so many things to be thankful for. As part of Karla's Gratitude Prompt, I will list 5 that are on my heart:
*Friends~This includes those of you out there who take a little time to come here and share in my everyday adventures. It's comforting to feel connected to others who are journeying through life, day by day. I have so many wonderful friends who are all truly a gift. They encourage me in my walk with God, Motherhood, my art, and life in general.
*Good Health~This is one that's so easy to take for granted. There are many people who struggle day in and day out with sickness, disease, cancer, etc. I have met some amazingly strong people who lived their lives with such joy, even in the midst of physical hardship. It really makes you stop and think, "I should be so thankful for the good health of myself and my family."
*Our Service men & women, and their families~These people make incredible sacrifices so that we can enjoy the freedoms that we have today. Dustin & I have military friends and I know that not only do the servicemen sacrifice, but also their families at home. It's a gift that is often overlooked or taken for granted. No matter what your opinions are of the war, politics, etc,
we should all be thankful for our brave military and their families.
*My Family~It's hard to put into words the thankfulness that I have for my family. It overwhelms me. I'm thankful for my parents and the loving home they gave me. I'm thankful for my sister and brother and the bond that we share. I'm thankful for the gift of a husband who is also my very best friend. And I'm thankful for my two daughters who have changed me forever and are the constant encouragement to stretch, grow, and become better.
*My Saviour~This is the biggest blessing of them all. It's a gift that I could never deserve. I thank God for sending His Son to die for me so that I could forever live with Him. It's not a fable or a fairytale. It's a real-life love story that has changed my life forever.

~So I hope you all are having a wonderful day!
