~~We had a fun weekend. It seemed to just fly by. We had a couple of cookouts with friends and some fun family time together.
~~I'm sorry that I've been neglecting the blog lately. These deadlines are just stressing me out. I need to have the Storytime piece finished, framed and delivered by Saturday, along with "The Little Flower." They are going to be displayed at the State Fair. I had the frames ordered and thought they were one their way to me. Then I received an email from the company(several days after I ordered) telling me that the frames are on back order until November. (I wonder why they waited so long to tell me!) So I'm going to have to come up with another plan. I'm very
close to being finished with Storytime (still not sure of the final name) and I hope to give you all a peek soon.
~~I also have a big Children's consignment sale to get ready for. I have to have my items ready by Thursday which is also the day I'm volunteered to work.
~~On top of that I'm worried about Dustin. Somehow, both of his feet are injured. He's trying to get into the doctor today for x-rays. We're pretty sure that he has some sort of fracture in one foot and a strain or something in the other. The strained foot has been bothering him for a while This weekend he injured the other foot while running and we think that the way he's been limping is hurting the strained foot. Does that make sense? Anyways, we really need to see what's going on and what he can do about it. I'm afraid that he's going to have to take it easy for a long time and that will be torture to him. You just can't hold him down. If you will, please pray for him.
~~Well, I've really got to get focused and busy today. It feels like Monday!

Sometimes, when I need last-minute frames, I got to Hobby Lobby and have them cut a mat to fit my picture in a standard frame. They'll usually do it the same day. You get a fairly cheap frame and dubious selection, but it works in a pinch.
Hope Dustin gets better! I broke my foot a few years ago and it wasn't fun at all.
