~~If you do very much colored pencil artwork, you're bound to end up with a bunch of stubs. Do you toss them, hang onto them, or...turn them into beautiful artwork like the very creative
Jennifer Maestre? Ever since I first found Jennifer's work, I have been intrigued by her amazing sculptures. I contacted her and she was kind enough to let me showcase them on my blog.

~~Not only does Jennifer create sculptures out of pencils, but she also turns nails and beads into works of art. She explains the process and the idea behind her sculptures on her website
here.

~~I would have to say that my favorite of all of Jennifer's creations, are her colored pencil jewelry pieces. She handmakes each piece, using the pencils to create unique patterns. They're beautiful, but also fun. I think they're the perfect jewelry for artists, teachers, and all creative types. You can shop
here in her Etsy store where she also sells pins, earrings and even Art Cards made from pencils!

~~In her own words, Jennifer says
"I am a sculptor with a particular fascination for pencils. I find them extremely inspiring, probably because I have a million of them in my studio. The big joke in my studio- I can never find anything to write with."~~Her motto is:
"Good luck to all artists." I like that!
~~Thanks Jennifer, for letting me show off your amazing work! It's colored pencil art in a brand new way!
