The Art of Life
Photobucket I'm so glad you're here! "The Art of Life" is where I share my journey as an artist & Momma. It's a place where I hope to encourage other women that they are artists too. In this small little space I seek to share, document, and be reminded of God's wonderful grace, all around us. ....And I would be so happy to have you journey alongside me! So grab a cup of coffee and linger for a while. I hope you leave feeling refreshed. Photobucket

Joy

~~The week has been going really well here. Sierra is loving school. She's had some fun experiences already this week: eating lunch in the cafeteria, playing parachute in the gym, making some new friends. Savannah is doing better than I thought she would. She's been pretty happy most of the day. Every now and then she mentions Sierra. Today she said, "I miss her!"
She gets sooo excited when it's time to pick her up!
~~It's been so unusual and yet very nice to have such quiet afternoons. Savannah still takes naps which means my house is strangely quiet after lunch. I've been taking advantage of it and working on my "Storytime" piece. I thought I would post an update today, but I think I'll wait until I have a little more done. I'm afraid it might be a bit boring for you all when I only have small updates to show. It's almost like watching a puzzle come together piece by piece. I'm feeling very inspired and I can't wait to get this one finished!
I hope everyone is having a great week! :)

Hi Kasie,
Isn't it scarey how fast they grow up! My daughter will be nine in a couple of months and I just don't know where the time goes- I still miss those afternoon naps! Thanks for your compliment on my blog. I'm looking forward to seeing an update on your Storytime piece, it's already so lovely.

Ah, I am anxious for quiet afternoons... mine begin next week! It has been SO LONG since I've had them (my second is just starting Kinder).

Can't wait to see how that piece turns out! I've hit a bit of a wall with my painting. I have a blank canvas calling my name and no sparks yet.

Cute! Have your kids figured out the whole swing and then jump into the air thing? I used to have fun doing that!
