The Art of Life
Photobucket I'm so glad you're here! "The Art of Life" is where I share my journey as an artist & Momma. It's a place where I hope to encourage other women that they are artists too. In this small little space I seek to share, document, and be reminded of God's wonderful grace, all around us. ....And I would be so happy to have you journey alongside me! So grab a cup of coffee and linger for a while. I hope you leave feeling refreshed. Photobucket

Flying Pencils

~~I love Michelle Tumes. She has a beautiful voice and an even more beautiful heart. Dustin and I got to meet her when she was just starting out. She did a free concert in a church and I was already a big fan. This song speaks about God being so near; the thought I was trying to express yesterday.

~~I'm drawing like a crazy woman today. My Mom is watching Savannah and she's also going to pick Sierra up from school. It will be a long, quiet, and hopefully productive day. I miss my munchkins, but the deadline for this piece is closing in very fast. I know I've got to get a lot done today and it helps to have a big chunk of quiet time.

~~Oh, and my exciting news from yesterday: I passed the 100 mile mark on miles I've ran. It was pretty exciting to me considering that a little over 2 months ago I couldn't run 1/2 a mile. I still have so far to go to be ready for the Half in December, but I feel like I'm making some progress. :)
Gotta run! Lots of coloring to do!

Wow! She really does have a beautiful voice!! I am so impressed with your running log! I umm, can't even run a quarter of a mile so, maybe I should make that a goal! :) I can't wait to hear how your half marithon goes!

Love Michelle Tumes also! I haven't heard anything from her in awhile, so what a joy to listen to this track :). Did you go to that Christmas concert downtown where they gave out mini-coleman lanterns (flashlights)? Anyway, I LOVE her voice and her music. We'll have to talk about that sometime. Isn't it funny how a blog can make a connection with someone we never knew we had. I didn't bookmark your site last time I was here and couldn't find it again, so I'm not very up-to-date. THANK YOU so much for helping out yesterday. Scott & I were pretty wiped out from our trip and the scary news about our friends' baby, so we really NEEDED all the help we could get. I think it went amazingly well considering. Hope to see you on Friday! (I think this is longer than a "comment.")
