The Art of Life
Photobucket I'm so glad you're here! "The Art of Life" is where I share my journey as an artist & Momma. It's a place where I hope to encourage other women that they are artists too. In this small little space I seek to share, document, and be reminded of God's wonderful grace, all around us. ....And I would be so happy to have you journey alongside me! So grab a cup of coffee and linger for a while. I hope you leave feeling refreshed. Photobucket

Firestation Tour

~~I'm finding it a little hard to get any art time this Summer. I'm not going to make excuses (because they don't help) but I'm not going to beat myself up either. Summer is just a busy, busy time. It seems like we're always on the go and any normal routine has been thrown out the window.
~~Today we had a firestation tour/playdate. The girls loved it. The firemen were all so nice and really excited for the kids to be there. They showed them where they sleep, what happens when the alarm goes off, let them go inside the trucks AND they all got to spray the big water hose. I love the picture on the bottom, lol. I'm glad that the girls are getting to learn and experience new things this Summer, and it's also nice to get out with friends. Sometimes it takes getting out of your routine to be inspired and grow.

I can completely sympathize with the difficulty in finding a balance between time for art and time with the kids during the summer when there is no set routine from day to day. :-)
