The Art of Life
Photobucket I'm so glad you're here! "The Art of Life" is where I share my journey as an artist & Momma. It's a place where I hope to encourage other women that they are artists too. In this small little space I seek to share, document, and be reminded of God's wonderful grace, all around us. ....And I would be so happy to have you journey alongside me! So grab a cup of coffee and linger for a while. I hope you leave feeling refreshed. Photobucket

Thankful

I haven't had my blog very long and already I've been a bad blogger, lol! Life has been zipping along and I haven't taken the time to write about it. I guess I keep thinking that I'll wait until something important comes up or something really special happens. But then I read a post on the Brocante Home blog called Days Like These that really reminded me that every day is special, no matter how ordinary.
Both the girls have had to go to the doctor. Savannah had an ear infection and Sierra had 2 ear infections and bronchitis. My poor girlies! I'm just so thankful that we figured it out and can get them well before Easter weekend.
We went to the zoo this last Saturday and had a wonderful day. The weather was perfect and the girls enjoyed it so much.
I have actually been able to start on a new drawing. I'm still in the sketching stage so I don't have anything ready to post yet, but I'm excited about the potential and that feels good.
There have been lots of "ordinary moments" lately, but through it all, I have so much to be thankful for.
I am thankful for:
~My wonderful husband and best friend Dustin. He's watching the girls tonight so that I can go on a "girl's night out" with my Sister-in-laws.
~The way Savannah loves to kiss me all over the face while saying "I luuuub you Mommy!"
~How beautiful and grown up Sierra looks with her new hair trim and how she still likes to sit on my lap and be my little girl.
~The peace inside my heart from knowing that God is always there, always listening, and always in control.
Have a wonderful day!
