The Art of Life
Photobucket I'm so glad you're here! "The Art of Life" is where I share my journey as an artist & Momma. It's a place where I hope to encourage other women that they are artists too. In this small little space I seek to share, document, and be reminded of God's wonderful grace, all around us. ....And I would be so happy to have you journey alongside me! So grab a cup of coffee and linger for a while. I hope you leave feeling refreshed. Photobucket

Right-Brained

~~I'm an intellegent girl. I know I am. I was Valedictorian of my class. I had a 4.0 grade point. I have a college degree. I'm no dummy; in theory that is. Then why, I ask, do I tend to have so much trouble with common sense things?
~~I'm the world's worst when it comes to directions. I get lost so easy and often. I've had people challenge me on this but, ask my Hubby, I am the world's worst. So, last night I was feeling very proud of myself for having made it to and from the workshop without getting lost once. That is a major feat! I was thinking, "Maybe I'm a grown-up after all!" That is until I opened my suitcase and realized that I'd left quite a few things in my hotel room. How on earth do you do something like that? I mean, leaving one item, like your shaving cream, is understandable. But leaving a drawer full of things is not. (My Hubby says I have blonde roots.) I called the motel and, yes, they found my things. One of the sweet ladies I met at the workshop is going to pick them up for me. I'm afraid she will now forever remember me as "that dingy forgetful girl from the workshop."
~~I had a WONDERFUL time at the workshop but I'm glad to be back with my girlies and my sensible, left-brain thinking Husband. We really balance each other out. I told him this morning, "Honey, you never have to worry about me leaving you." He said, "I know. You couldn't find the hotel."
